Gauteng government partners with Moral Regeneration Movement (MRM) in protecting public property

MEC for Infrastructure Development Jacob Mamabolo together with Father Smangaliso Mkhatshwa will, on Tuesday, 31 January announce a partnership between the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development (GDID) and the Moral Regeneration Movement in taking the I Care We Care campaign to communities across the province. Launched in 2016, the campaign seeks to raise awareness and mobilise communities in Gauteng to take ownership and safeguard public property such as schools, libraries, municipal properties and many others.  The press conference will also unveil a number of activities that the Gauteng Provincial Government will be leading to ensure that the campaign promotes community activism and vigilance required to push back such unacceptable actions in the province.
