The Minister of Health Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi and his Deputy Dr. Joe Phaahla will on Thursday, 29 June 2017 release details of the National Health Insurance (NHI) white paper as approved by Cabinet at a media briefing. The National Health Insurance is a health financing system that pools funds to provide access to quality health care services to all South Africans, based on their health needs and irrespective of their socio-economic status.
