The Deputy Minister of Transport, Ms Sindisiwe Chikunga will, on Friday, 24th November 2017 brief members of the media about South Africa’s plans to be re-elected to the Council of the United Nations’ (UN) specialized maritime agency, the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). Elections for new member states will take place during the 30th Regular Session of the Assembly of the IMO in London, United Kingdom from 27th November to the 6th December 2017.
