Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) will release the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) 2017 report at a media briefing to be held on Monday, 20 August 2018 in Pretoria. The CAPEX 2017 report provides a highlight on rand value of infrastructure expenditure by public sector institutions (all spheres of government, extra-budgetary accounts, higher education institutions and public corporations). An outline of the amounts spent on new construction works; plant, machinery and equipment; as well as on transport equipment, is also provided in the report.
