As part of equipping journalists with information to help them with their reporting of the Medium Term Budget Policy Statement (MTBPS) and related issues, Treasury will host a media workshop on 23 October 2018. The workshop will discuss, among others, government compensation data, and the Employment Tax Incentive since its inception to now, the impact it has had on job creation, and its future. Journalists are reminded that senior officials who will address the workshop are not to be quoted in any articles, although the information they share at the workshop may be used as background information when journalists write their stories in future.
