Tomorrow, 15 March 2016, DA Shadow Minister of Public Enterprises, Natasha Mazzone MP will brief the media on South Africa’s state owned entities and actions to be taken with regard to SAA. As it stands SAA is reportedly bankrupt and unable to pay to its suppliers whilst making losses to the tune of R256 million in some routes. On top of this SAA has cost the taxpayer R6.5 billion in government bailouts in the past year, money that should have gone towards creating jobs.
