The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa will be making submissions to the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) on Eskom’s request for a tariff increase. Eskom has requested the regulator to approve a 45% increase over three years. NUMSA, supports the demands of the community to reject any tariff increase on electricity as it will worsen conditions for industry, and for the working class.
