We are planning an organising initiative for Workers of Capitec Bank in the Johannesburg CBD on Saturday, 7 May from around 07h15. We will be meeting at Gandhi Square from 06h30. The planned activities for the above date are as follows: 1. Early morning blitz and pamphleteering exercise commencing from 07h15 as workers are coming in to work 2. Where possible and without disturbing operations, engagement with workers at their place of work during operational hours 3. Recruitment of new members and building of contacts lists 4. Invitation and convening of mass organising meeting with workers after they knock off from work from 13h00 onwards The planned organising initiative is in collaboration with COSATU and Uni Global Union.
