In light of the return of some of the digitised Rivonia Trial tapes from France, please join us for a special handover ceremony to the South African Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa, on Thursday 17 March 2016. The president of the French National Audiovisual Institute (INA), Mr Laurent Vallet, will be in South Africa for this occasion. Ambassador of France to South Africa, Elisabeth Barbier, who was present for the sendoff of the original trial dictabelts in October 2014, will also attend.
