President Jacob Zuma will on Friday, 20 May 2016, address the historic Fort Hare centenary celebrations at the Fort Hare University, Alice Campus in the Eastern Cape. The celebration will acknowledge the role that the university has played in educating Africans. It will celebrate the values and traditions that made the university to be Africa’s most respected institution of higher learning.
