The Gauteng Office of Consumer Affairs (GOCA) will launch a consumer education campaign on Friday, 24 June 2016 at Kliptown Visitors Centre in Soweto. The campaign aims to educate students on how to transact wisely and keep a positive credit record, especially young people who will soon become income earners According to GOCA, many young people are not credit wise and as a results make hasty decisions that affect their credit profile. The theme for the campaign is;“The only positive status should be your credit record”. A number of consumer bodies will exhibit at the event.
