COSATU LIMPOPO TO OPEN ITS PROVINCIAL OFFICE AS ELECTION WAR ROOM

The Congress of South African Trade Unions in Limpopo is to open its Provincial Office as an Election War Room as follows: Date            : 03 August 2016 Time           : 07h00 – 21h00 Place           : COSATU Provincial Office, No 16 Schoeman Street, Polokwane. The Provincial War Room will amongst other be responsible for the following: 1. To complement the ANC Provincial and Regional Elections Operational Centres in monitoring and managing the 2016 Local Government Elections. 2. To monitor that vulnerable workers, i.e, farm and retail sectors workers are released to go and vote and intervene together with the Department of Labour in cases where there is non-compliance.
