As part of the October Transport Month campaign, the Gauteng Departments of Education and Roads and Transport, in partnership with the Universities of Pretoria, Johannesburg, Wits and Cape Town, will from Monday, 10 October 2016, host various Transport Career Expos for high school learners in the Gauteng City Region. The objective of the expo will be to expose Grade 10 and 11 learners to various fields of study available in the Transport sector, especially the public transport division. Furthermore, the learners will be encouraged to actively consider Transport as a career choice.
