The Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Senzeni Zokwana will visit the Business Women Network at Swartland Local Municipality in Malmesbury on the 20th of October 2016.This visit serves as a follow-up Ministerial consultation to engage on issues that relate to agriculture, forestry and fisheries. The minister will visit three of the Women’s projects during this engagement. The Business Women Network consists of 50 women who are showing a keen and determined interest with expanding their network and also contributing positively to the agricultural sector. Through the empowerment of women, poverty can be significantly alleviated, and further create job which will in turn provide self-sufficiency within the Swartland communities.
