The Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms Nosiviwe Mapisa Nqakula will on Friday the 28th October 2016 officially open the National General Conference (NGC) of the South African National Military Veterans Association (SANMVA), at the Birchwood & OR Tambo Conference Centre – Ekurhuleni. SANMVA is a national umbrella association that comprises of former liberation army’s such as uMKhonto we Sizwe (MKMva), Azanian People’s Liberation Movement Veterans Associations (APLAMva) and Azanian National Liberation Army (AzanlaMva) as well as the Conference of Military Veterans’ Organisations.
