MEC for Infrastructure Development Jacob Mamabolo will on behalf of the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) host a delegation of heads of institutions from the Ugandan government on their study visit to Lutsinga Infrastructure House. The delegation will observe how GPG uses the project nerve centre as an oversight and monitoring tool for service delivery projects. The delegation also wants to see how this technologically advanced system will put an end to cost overruns, delays, corruption and wastage in the delivery of infrastructure. The Ugandan delegation will be particularly interested in the anti-corruption potential of the system; and in the power of technology to increase effectiveness of anti-corruption measures.
